Abstract Short Story Poster

I was tasked to make an abstract poster with only being given a short story about a mythical creature to work with. We were not allowed to illustrate the creature in anyway.

The Story of the Pinnacle Grouse: The pinnacle grouse had a single wing. This enabled it to fly in one direction only, circling the top of a conical hill. The color of its plumage varied according to the season and according to the condition of the observer.

Type Specimen Poster

Type specimen posters were historically a means of introducing and promoting a new typeface. I was tasked to create a poster that both effectively and expressively showcased the characteristics of the Baskerville typeface.

Pirates of the Caribbean - Alternative Movie Poster

For a class project we were assigned to create a movie poster. The design had to be illustrated and we could not use photo images from the actual movie.
